The month of December provides us a great opportunity to think, plan and set goals for the coming year. You need to get rid of all the garbage you have accumulated during the year so that you start the new year with a clean mind, clean body, clean environment, clean thinking, clean conscious and a clean soul. Cleanliness attracts success and success brings happiness in life.

The areas which need your special attention are:

1. Clean Your Mind

Give top most priority to the cleaning of your mind from all kind of negativity; anger, anxiety, bad habits, bad temperament, depression, discrimination, enmity, guilt, hatred, tension, etc. Say to yourself: “I am not the person, I used to be. I am the person I want to be”. Completely wipe out all kind of negativity from your life and become a firm believer in Positive Thinking, Happy Living.

2. Clean Your Body

Now is the time to clean your body from inside, from the adverse effects of the unhealthy food and drinks you had been taking in the past eleven months. Even though you may be feeling physically fit but don’t take any risk and get an early appointment from your doctor for your annual medical check-up. Any disease can be cured easily if detected at the initial stage.

Stop eating food that is of zero nutritional value or rather harmful to your body. Instead start eating lot of vegetables and fruits. Drink pure water and avoid all artificially colored, carbonated or alcoholic drinks. Make it a habit of reading labels before buying any canned food. Also do some stretching and deep breathing daily and engage yourself in some physical activity.

3. Clean Your Soul

You can clean your soul by establishing your link with God through humble prayers and deep meditation. Spend some quiet time alone daily in complete silence.

4. Clean Your Work Place

If your work place is untidy you cannot expect better results. It is, therefore, necessary to clean your office properly and destroy all old files, books, pamphlets, brochures, visiting cards, note books, agenda books etc. Also clean your laptop/computer from all junk mail and irrelevant material accumulated therein.

5. Clean Your House/Apartment

Your house is the place where you eat, drink, rest, relax and spend most of your time. Therefore, it is necessary to do thorough cleaning of your house including walls, windows, floors, furniture, curtains, carpets, etc. Decorate your house with pictures, paintings, decoration pieces, flowers and plants. Make your house more attractive, comfortable and a better place to live and relax.
