I'm not a morning person. I'm lucky to know my name, much less bounce out ready to face Denise Austin's morning workout. Not this girl.
So I decided to stop fighting it, and start working with it. And that means that I need to take care of some things the night before in order to start my day off in a calm, collected way. And that is giving up control of your life. That’s giving up all power to your life to other people or circumstance. And that will make you miserable
It reminds me of walking through a wonderful food buffet where you could have anything you want -- 0 calories! -- and allowing someone else to decide what you took on your plate. Unacceptable!
The Cookie Diet... Really?
In the last few years, I've noticed that more people are beginning to embrace the idea that weight loss involves making healthy food choices and lifestyle changes. This comes as welcome news to myself and all of the other dietitians out there who have been trying to promote that very idea for years. But then, another fad diet emerges which starts to cast doubt, and those who have been trying to escape the dieting mentality once and for all begin to wonder if this new plan may just be the one that finally works…..enter the Cookie Diet!
Have you ever taken a bite out of an apple and then set it down for a while?
