Phuket as a First Tourist Destination
Phuket has a lot of holiday enjoyments for those who opt for the island as their next destination. Many beautiful beaches are available, as well as a lot of day or night activities that can be experienced by all. International football seven-a-side tournaments are held three times per year during week-ends in Phuket, in February and November. Football lovers who want not only a vacation but wish to enjoy sport in a friendly competition may join and play against teams from Hong-Kong, Singapore, Australia and many more countries.
Phuket is only the sixth province of the kingdom in terms of population. With all the quality activities and entertainment it is able to provide, Phuket is certainly the first tourist destination in Thailand.
